The grain and the texture are as realistic as a solid beam, without the problems of twisting, warping, and pitch seepage. Most important, they’re lightweight and easy to install.

For example, an 10 ” x 8 ” x 20' beam weighs just 35 pounds. We have these installed in our showroom on an 11-foot ceiling and visitors can’t believe they’re not the real McCoy.

Traditional beams have a rough-sawn texture with knots and heavy grain. It is our most versatile beam, suitable for a variety of styles. Rustic beams capture the essence of hand-hewn timber. Distressed with knots and splits, it’s perfect for a Tuscan or old world look.
